Goldman plans five-year leveraged buffered notes tied to two indexes

Chicago, April 25– GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% leveraged buffered notes due May 10, 2023 linked to the lesser performing of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.57 times any gain of the worse performing index.

Investors will receive par if either fund falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline of the worse performing index beyond 20%.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is the underwriter.

The notes will price on May 3.

The Cusip number is 40055AZD2.
