New Issue: Barclays sells $791,000 4.8% buffered notes linked to Russell 2000

Morgantown, W.Va., April 9 – Barclays Bank plc priced $791,000 of 4.8% buffered notes due March 31, 2025 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

If the index return is at least negative 15%, the payout at maturity will be par.

Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

Barclays is the agent.
