New Issue: GS Finance sells $1.95 million autocallable notes on Stoxx, Russell

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 7 – GS Finance Corp. priced $1.95 million of autocallable notes due Feb. 6, 2023 linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will be called at par plus an annualized premium of 10% if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly call observation date after six months.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 50% if each index closes above its initial level. If either index falls but neither by more than 40%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing index declines from its initial level.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
