Barclays to price SuperTrack notes linked to Russell and Dow indexes

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 28 – Barclays Bank plc plans to issue SuperTrack notes due Oct. 5, 2022 linked to the lesser-performing index of the Russell 2000 index and the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return of the lesser performing index is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus triple the index return, subject to a maximum payout of $1,750 to $1,850 per $1,000 of notes, with the exact cap to be set at pricing. If the index finishes flat or declines by up to 40%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the index from its initial level.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 06744C2R1) will price on Sept. 29 and settle on Oct. 4.
