Morgan Stanley to price PLUS on basket of three indexes, three ETFs

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 31 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Oct. 4, 2018 linked to a basket of three indexes and three exchange-traded funds, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 40% weight, Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 12% weight, Russell 2000 index with a 12% weight, iShares China Large-Cap ETF with a 12% weight, Technology Select Sector SPDR fund with a 12% weight and Financial Select Sector SPDR fund with a 12% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of any basket gain, subject to a maximum payout of $11.11 per PLUS.

Investors will be fully exposed to any basket decline.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 1.
