New Issue: Morgan Stanley prices $1.8 million buffered PLUS tied to index basket

Knoxville, Tenn., July 18 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC priced $1.8 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due July 19, 2019 linked to a basket of three indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The basket consists of the S&P 500 index with a 70% weight, the S&P MidCap 400 index with a 15% weight and the Russell 2000 index with a 15% weight.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 200% of any basket gain, subject to a maximum of $1,172 per $1,000 of notes.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
