GS Finance to sell digital notes on S&P 500 index, Russell 2000 index

Knoxville, Tenn., July 5 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% digital notes due July 31, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
The payout at maturity will be par plus the threshold settlement amount of $1,660 per $1,000 of notes if each index finishes at or above its initial level.
If the lesser-performing index falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the lesser-performing index from its initial level.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.
The notes (Cusip: 40054LJ62) will price on July 26 and settle on July 31.
