Citigroup plans two-year capped buffer gears linked to Russell 2000

Morgantown, W.Va., June 26 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% capped buffer gears due June 28, 2019 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 2 times the index return, subject to a maximum gain of 17.65% to 19.65%. If the index falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and UBS Financial Services Inc. are the agents.

The notes will price on June 27.

The Cusip number is 17325K206.
