Morgan Stanley plans enhanced buffered jump notes tied to Russell 2000

Chicago, Feb. 6 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% enhanced buffered jump securities due Aug. 28, 2020 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

If the index finishes at or above its 80% threshold, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed return of 19%.

If the index falls by more than the 20% buffer, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Feb. 23 and settle on Feb. 28.

The Cusip number is 61768CEW3.
