New Issue: GS Finance prices $2.16 million PLUS linked to Russell 2000

Norfolk, Va., Jan. 20 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.16 million of 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due May 3, 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of the index return, subject to a maximum return of 18.15%.

If the index return is negative, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as dealer.
