New Issue: Barclays prices $2.1 million callable contingent coupon notes on Russell, S&P

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 3 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.1 million of callable contingent coupon notes due Dec. 30, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 7.75% if each index closes at or above its trigger, 60% of its initial level, on the observation date for that quarter.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its 60% trigger, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses of the worse performing index.

The notes are callable at par on any interest payment date.
