Credit Suisse plans digital buffered notes due 2020 linked to Russell

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 27 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due July 30, 2020 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If each index finishes at or above the 80% threshold, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed payment of 17.5% to 20.5%. The exact digital return will be set at pricing.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the 20% buffer.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Jan. 26 and settle on Jan. 31.
The Cusip number is 22548QRA5.
