Barclays plans digital plus notes linked to Russell 2000 index

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 7 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% digital plus notes due Dec. 30, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the gain and the fixed return of 42% to 45%. The exact fixed return will be set at pricing.

If the index falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Dec. 27.

The Cusip number is 06741VF56.
