Credit Suisse plans Bares linked to Russell 2000 index

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 31 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities due June 4, 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the upside participation rate – expected to be 200% – multiplied by the index return, subject to a maximum return that is expected to be 14.5% to 16.5%. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.
The exact terms will be set at pricing.
The notes will price on Nov. 30.
The Cusip number is 22548QLZ6.
