Credit Suisse plans digital buffered notes due 2020 tied to Russell

Chicago, Sept. 26 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due April 1, 2020 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index finishes above its 80% threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed return of 17.5% and 20.5%. The exact digital return will be set at pricing.
Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 20% buffer.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Sept. 27 and settle on Sept. 30.
The Cusip number is 22548QFP5.
