New Issue: HSBC prices $765,000 buffered uncapped notes linked to Russell

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 31 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $765,000 of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due Aug. 31, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus 100% of the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 20% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 20%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
