Credit Suisse plans digital buffered notes due 2019 linked to Russell

Chicago, Dec. 30 – Credit Suisse AG plans to price 0% digital buffered notes due July 31, 2019 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above its 80% barrier level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed return of 18% to 21%. The exact percentage will be set at pricing.

Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any losses beyond 20%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Jan. 27 and settle on Jan. 29.

The Cusip number is 22546VTR7.
