Morgan Stanley plans PLUS notes due April 4, 2017 on Russell 2000

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 16 – Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due April 4, 2017 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus three times any index gain, subject to a maximum payment of $11.73 per PLUS.

Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 61765U514) will price on Dec. 30 and settle on Jan. 5.
