Bank of Montreal plans buffered bullish digital notes on Russell 2000

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 16 – Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish digital return notes due Feb. 6, 2017 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the digital return of 9.5%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.

BMO Capital Markets Corp. is the agent.

The notes will price on Nov. 3 and settle on Nov. 6.

The Cusip number is 06366R3L7.
