New Issue: HSBC prices $700,000 buffered notes linked to Russell 2000

Tacoma, Wash., July 31 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $700,000 of 0% buffered uncapped market participation securities due July 31, 2020 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is greater than zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. is the underwriter.
