New Issue: JPMorgan prices $20,000 more callable contingent interest notes linked to S&P, Russell
By Angela McDaniels
Tacoma, Wash., March 4 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $20,000 of additional callable contingent interest notes due March 2, 2020 linked to the lesser performing of the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The additional notes bring the issue size to $8.72 million. The original $8.7 million of notes priced Feb. 24.
Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at an annual rate of 6.8% if each index closes at or above its barrier level, 60% of its initial level, on the review date for that quarter.
The notes are callable at par plus the contingent coupon on any interest payment date other than the final one.
If the notes have not been called, the payout at maturity will be par unless either index finishes below its barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the lesser-performing index.
