New Issue: Goldman prices $7.03 million autocallable contingent coupon notes tied to S&P, Russell

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Feb. 27 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $7,033,000 of autocallable contingent coupon notes due March 11, 2025 linked to the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon of $14.125 for each $1,000 par amount if each index closes at or above 50% trigger level on the determination date for that quarter.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly determination date beginning in February 2016 to and including November 2024.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent coupon if the return of each index is greater than or equal to negative 50%.

If the return of either index is less than negative 50%, investors will be fully exposed to the losses of the worse-performing component and will receive no coupon.
