New Issue: JPMorgan prices $1.5 million autocallable contingent interest notes linked to ETFs, Russell

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 19 – JPMorgan Chase & Co. priced $1.5 million of autocallable contingent interest notes due Feb. 23, 2018 linked to the Russell 2000 index, the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each month, the notes will pay a coupon at an annualized rate of 8.5% if each underlying component closes at or above its interest barrier, 70% of its initial level, on the review date for that month.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus the coupon if each underlying component closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly autocall review date.

A trigger event occurs if any underlying component closes below its trigger value, 60% of its initial level, on any day during the life of the notes.

If the notes have not been called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the contingent coupon unless any component finishes below its initial level and a trigger event has occurred, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline in the least-performing underlying from its initial level.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
