By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 10 - Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due August 2018 linked to a basket of indexes and an exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes the Dow Jones industrial average with a 30% weight, the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 30% weight, the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF with a 20% weight and the Russell 2000 index with a 20% weight.

If the final basket level is greater than the initial basket level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 105% of the basket return. If the basket declines by 17% or less, the payout will be par. If the basket declines by more than 17%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket declines beyond the buffer.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price and settle in February.
