Credit Suisse plans contingent coupon yield notes linked to Russell
By Susanna Moon
Chicago, July 1 - Credit Suisse AG, Nassau Branch plans to price contingent coupon yield notes due July 26, 2019 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will pay a quarterly coupon at an annualized rate of 7% to 7.5% if the index closes at or above the 70% coupon barrier level on the observation date for that quarter. The exact contingent quarterly coupon will be set at pricing.
The payout at maturity will be par unless the index finishes at or below the 70% knock-in level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on July 19 and settle on July 26.
The Cusip number is 22547Q5L6.
