New Issue: HSBC prices $621,000 buffered AMPS due 2016 linked to Russell 2000

Chicago, March 19 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $621,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due March 22, 2016 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any gain in the index, up to a maximum return of 31%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond 10%.
