New Issue: Goldman Sachs prices $1.99 million callable range accrual notes linked to Russell 2000

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 30 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $1.99 million of callable monthly range accrual notes due Dec. 31, 2023 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The interest rate is 5.25% multiplied by the proportion of days on which the index's closing level is at least 80% of the initial level. Interest is payable monthly.
The payout at maturity will be par.
Beginning Dec. 31, 2014, the notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
