New Issue: Goldman prices $1.67 million callable range accrual notes linked to Russell 2000

Tacoma, Wash., Nov. 25 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $1.67 million of callable monthly range accrual notes due Nov. 26, 2028 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The interest rate is 8.25% multiplied by the proportion of days on which the index's closing level is at least 75% of the initial level. Interest is payable monthly.

If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 50%, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the final index level is less than the initial level.

Beginning Nov. 26, 2014, the notes will be callable at par on any interest payment date.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
