Barclays plans Super Track notes tied to S&P MidCap 400, Russell 2000

Chicago, Oct. 1 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due Oct. 10, 2017 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of the S&P MidCap 400 index and the Russell 2000 index, with the weighting to be set at pricing.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.85 times to 1.95 times any basket gain, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 25% buffer and will lose 1.33333% for every 1% decline beyond 25%.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on Oct. 4 and settle on Oct. 9.

The Cusip is 06741TP84.
