By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Aug. 28 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $1.11 million of 9% autocallable yield notes due Aug. 30, 2013 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the SPDR S&P Metals & Mining exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest is payable quarterly.

The notes will be called at par if the closing level of each underlying component is at or above its initial level on any quarterly call observation date.
