Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 1 - Morgan Stanley priced $3.1 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due March 4, 2013 linked to a basket of indexes and exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket includes the S&P 500 index with a 35% weight, the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund with a 35% weight, the Russell 2000 index with a 15% weight and the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund with a 15% weight.
The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 150% of any basket gain, subject to a maximum return of 16%. Investors will receive par if the basket declines by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.
