JPMorgan plans 15.15% callable notes on Russell, iShares MSCI Brazil

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Aug. 18 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 15.15% callable yield notes due Aug. 23, 2012 linked to the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI Brazil index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Interest will be payable monthly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless either underlying component closes at or below 60% of its initial level during the life of the notes and the final level is less than the initial level, in which case investors will receive par plus the return of the worst-performing underlying component.

The notes will be callable at par on Nov. 23, Feb. 23, 2012 and May 23, 2012.

The notes (Cusip: 48125XN85) will price Aug. 19 and settle Aug. 24.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC is the agent.
