New Issue: Bank of America prices $19.46 million Stars linked to Russell 2000

New York, Feb. 28 - Bank of America Corp. priced $19.46 million of 0% Strategic Accelerated Redemption Securities due March 5, 2012 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be called at par of $10 plus a call premium of 13.33% per year if the index closes at or above its initial level on Aug. 23, 2011, Nov. 22, 2011 or Feb. 27, 2012.

The payout at maturity will be par if the index finishes at or above the threshold level - 95% of the initial level - and investors will be exposed to any decline below the threshold level.

Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. is the underwriter.
