New Issue: HSBC prices $514,000 buffered AMPS linked to indexes, fund

New York, Oct. 26 - HSBC USA Inc. priced $514,000 of 0% buffered Accelerated Market Participation Securities due April 29, 2013 linked to an equally weighted basket of two indexes and a fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The underlying components are the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE index fund.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain in the basket, subject to a cap of 23%.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to declines beyond 10%.
