New Issue: Scotia prices $3 million capped in-gears linked to Russell 2000

Columbus, Ohio, Dec. 14 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $3 million of 0% capped in-gears due Dec. 11, 2029 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 412B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above 147% of the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 94.665%.

If the index finishes below 147% of the initial level but at or above 100% of initial level, the payout will be par plus 9.36% plus 1.815 times the index gain in excess of 100%.

If the index finishes below 100% of initial level but at or above 96% of initial level, the payout will be par plus 2.34 times the quantity of the index return plus 4%.

If the index declines more than 4% but no more than 12%, investors will lose 1.5% for each 1% decline beyond 4%.

If the index declines by more than 12%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% of index decline from initial level.
