New Issue: GS Finance prices $384,000 autocallable buffered basket-linked notes

Chicago, Dec. 1 – GS Finance Corp. priced $384,000 of autocallable buffered basket-linked notes due Nov. 1, 2027, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The equally-weighted basket consists of the S&P 500 index and the Russell 2000 index.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The notes will be automatically called at par plus a 16% call premium if the basket closes at or above its initial level on Oct. 25, 2023.

If the basket return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 1.635 times the basket return.

If the basket finishes flat or declines up to 20%, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket declines below 20%.
