New Issue: HSBC prices $55,000 autocallable barrier notes linked to Nasdaq, Russell, Dow
New York, Nov. 16 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $55,000 of 0% autocallable barrier notes with step-up premium due Nov. 3, 2025 linked to the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Starting Oct. 31, 2023, the notes will be called automatically at par plus a premium of 17.2% per year if the closing level of the worst performing index is greater than or equal to its initial level on any quarterly observation date.
The payout at maturity will be par if the worst performing index finishes at or above its 70% barrier level. Investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the worst performing index declines if it finishes below the barrier level.
