New Issue: Barclays prices $1.9 million contingent income autocalls on S&P, Russell, Nasdaq
By William Gullotti
Buffalo, N.Y., April 20 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1.9 million of contingent income autocallable securities due April 17, 2026 linked to the least performing of the S&P 500 index, the Nasdaq-100 index and the Russell 2000 index according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes pay a contingent quarterly coupon at the rate of 8.25% per year if each index closes at or above its downside threshold level, 70% of its initial level, on the observation date for that period. Previously unpaid coupons, if any, will be automatically included whenever a coupon is paid.
The notes will be automatically called at par plus the coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly valuation date after six months.
If each index finishes at or above its downside threshold level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the least performing index declines from its initial level.
