New Issue: CIBC prices $1.2 million contingent coupon autocallable barrier notes on three indexes

Chicago, Sept. 16 – Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce priced $1.2 million of contingent coupon autocallable barrier notes due Jan. 30, 2025 linked to the worst performing of the S&P 500 index, the Nasdaq-100 index and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a quarterly coupon at an annualized rate of 7.2% if each index closes at or above its barrier level, 60% of its initial level, on a related observation date.

The notes will be called at par plus the coupon if each index closes above its initial level on any quarterly observation date.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any final coupon unless any index finishes below its 50% principal barrier level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the worst performer from its initial level.
