New Issue: Barclays sells $1.01 million callable contingent coupon notes on Russell, S&P, Nasdaq

By William Gullotti

Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 12 – Barclays Bank plc priced $1.01 million of callable contingent coupon notes due Aug. 14, 2025 linked to the worst performing of the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes pay a contingent monthly coupon at an annualized rate of 8.5% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 70% of its initial level, on the related observation date. Previously unpaid coupons, if any, will be automatically included whenever a coupon is paid.

The notes will be callable in whole at par plus any coupon due on any monthly observation date after one year.

If the notes are not redeemed early and each index finishes at or above its coupon barrier, the payout at maturity will be par plus all unpaid coupons.

If the worst performer finishes below its coupon barrier but at or above the 50% final barrier level, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the least performing index from its initial level.
