New Issue: Citigroup sells $2.93 million buffer securities linked to index basket

Chicago, Jan. 31 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $2.93 million of 0% buffer securities due Feb. 24, 2023 linked to an equally weighted basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The basket consists of the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the Dow Jones industrial average, each with equal weights.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 3 times any positive return of the basket, capped at 11.6%.

If the basket falls by up to 10%, the payout will be par. Investors will be exposed to declines in the basket below 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
