New Issue: BMO sells $4.48 million contingent market-linked autocalls on Nasdaq, Russell, S&P

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 12 – Bank of Montreal priced $4.48 million of market-linked securities due Jan. 27, 2023 – autocallable with contingent coupon and contingent downside linked to the least performing of the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the Nasdaq-100 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 8.1% if each index closes at or above its 75% coupon threshold on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be called at par plus the coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly observation date after six months.

If the notes are not called and each index’s final level is greater than or equal to its 75% downside threshold, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the decline of the worst performer from its initial level.

BMO Capital Markets Corp. is the agent with Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acting as the agent for distribution.
