New Issue: HSBC sells $472,000 buffered accelerated market participation notes on Russell 2000

Chicago, Oct. 19 – HSBC USA Inc. priced $472,000 of 0% buffered accelerated market participation securities due Jan. 30, 2024 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus double the index return, capped at par plus 13%.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by 10% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond the 10% buffer.
