New Issue: Barclays prices $4.2 million trigger callable contingent yield notes on three indexes

By William Gullotti

Buffalo, N.Y., Oct. 8 – Barclays Bank plc priced $4.2 million of trigger callable contingent yield notes with daily coupon observation due Jan. 24, 2025 linked to the worst performing of the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the MSCI Emerging Markets index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at a rate of 8.25% per year if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 70% of its initial level, on each scheduled trading day during that quarter.

The notes will be callable at par of $10 plus any coupon due on any quarterly observation date other than the final one.

If the notes are not called and each index finishes at or above the 70% coupon barrier, the payout at maturity will be par plus any final coupon due.

If any index declines below the coupon barrier but each index finishes at or above the downside threshold level, 60% of its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the worst performing index from its initial level.

UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the agents.
