New Issue: Credit Suisse sells $3.44 million contingent coupon autocallable yield notes on indexes

By William Gullotti

Buffalo, N.Y., Sept. 1 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch priced $3.44 million of contingent coupon autocallable yield notes due Feb. 28, 2023 linked to the least performing of the Russell 2000 index and the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a quarterly contingent coupon at an annual rate of 7% if each index closes at or above its coupon barrier, 75% of its initial level, on the observation date for that period.

The notes will be called at par plus coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly trigger observation date after six months.

If the notes have not been called, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon unless either index closes below its 75% knock-in value during the life of the notes and either index finishes below its initial level, in which case investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the lesser-performing index finishes below its initial level.

The agent is Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC.
