New Issue: Scotia sells $2.66 million capped enhanced participation notes on Russell 2000

Buffalo, N.Y., Aug. 16 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $2.66 million of 0% capped enhanced participation notes due Feb. 3, 2023 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 300% of any gain in the index up to a maximum payout of par plus 20.25%.
Otherwise, investors will be exposed to any index decline from initial level.
Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the underwriter. Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC is acting as dealer.
