New Issue: Scotiabank sells $5.16 million capped enhanced notes on Russell 2000

Los Angeles, April 9 – Bank of Nova Scotia priced $5.16 million of 0% capped enhanced participation notes due Sept. 29, 2021 linked to the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 500% of any gain in the index up to a maximum payout of $1,235 per $1,000 of notes.
Investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC as dealer.
