Coliseum Capital owns more than 2.72 million shares of Rural/Metro

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 3 - Coliseum Capital Management, LLC reported an 11.0% stake in Rural/Metro Corp. following the purchase of 1,035,658 shares between Sept. 18 and Dec. 16, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shares were priced from $1.75 to $2.32 each, the filing said.

Coliseum and its affiliates beneficially own 2,723,117 shares of the Scottsdale, Ariz., medical transportation company.

In addition, Coliseum's clients own $14,971,000 of principal of Rural/Metro's 12.75% notes due 2016.
