RS High Yield Fund drops portfolio manager Marc Gross

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Sept. 17 – RS Investment Trust announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Marc Gross is no longer co-portfolio manager of the RS High Yield Fund, effective Sept. 15.

Kevin Booth and Paul Gillin remain as co-portfolio managers of the fund.

The fund seeks current income with capital appreciation as a secondary objective by investing primarily in securities, including high-yield corporate bonds, convertible bonds and other debt securities, that are rated below investment grade at the time of purchase.

San Francisco-based RS Investment Management Co. LLC is the investment adviser.
