Moody’s revises RPI Finance to negative

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the ratings of RPI Finance Trust, including the Baa2 senior secured rating, and revised the outlook to negative from stable.

"Solid performance will continue for several years, but RPI Finance Trust faces an upcoming revenue cliff in 2018," Moody's senior vice president Michael Levesque said in a news release.

"The negative outlook reflects the potential for a lower rating if the company cannot replicate its past success in acquiring royalty interests in high-value pharmaceutical products."
